This photo comes to us from Mrs. Pecina’s 4th grade classroom in Texas, where something quietly wonderful happened during their recent open house.
While parents mingled and chatted with Mrs. Pecina, students gathered around a BrainBrake poster—coloring together, sharing markers, and adding their own spark to a design meant to calm and connect. It wasn’t just a coloring activity. It was a moment of belonging.
We love seeing our posters come to life in real spaces, especially when they help bridge moments between kids, caregivers, and educators. Thank you to Mrs. Pecina and her students for sharing this snapshot of creativity and care.
Want to be featured in a future post? Send us a photo of your colored BrainBrake poster and tell us a little about where it lives. We’re building a gallery of real moments, one crayon stroke at a time.
